Digital Conference
This Digital Seaweed Conference will be arranged 27th - 28th of October 2021 – please save the dates.
Sea to Market is a conference series that focuses on the commercialization process for marine interdisciplinary developments. In 2021 the chosen subject is the seaweed industry, and we have named the conference Algemania.
The European seaweed industry today consists of a few large industrial harvesters and many small entrepreneurs involved in cultivated and wild-harvested seaweed. There are many opportunities and bottlenecks in the whole value chain from research to market. Sea to Market - Algemania - will focus on applied research as a tool for industrial growth, marked opportunities and facilitate marine interdisciplinary cooperation. Algemania will include expert speakers, group sessions and discussion panels highlighting the process of commercialization, value chains and upscaling a seaweed business. The group sessions will involve research-, industrial-partners and management to discuss relevant topics from sea to market and mutual beneficial solutions.
Due to covid, this year’s conference will be digital. Participation is free.
